Shipping Policy
Processing Time
Ready-to-ship pieces: Ship within 3–7 business days after payment clears.
Made-to-order / custom pieces: Typically ship within 4–6 weeks (busy seasons may take a little longer). I’ll email you if there is any significant delay.
Domestic U.S. Shipping
Orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail with tracking.
Flat rates (you can adjust these):
Priority Mail (2–3 business days): $10
Free U.S. shipping on orders over $150 (product total before tax and discounts).
Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships.
International Shipping
I currently ship to select countries including Canada and the Non Contiguous US
International orders are shipped with USPS First Class International, GlobalPost, or UPS (depending on destination).
Buyers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and fees charged by their country. These are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
Delivery times vary by country and can be delayed by customs. Once a package enters another country, tracking updates may be limited.
Shipping Insurance & Lost Packages
Standard shipping includes tracking but does not automatically include insurance.
You may choose a shipping option that includes insurance (such as USPS Priority or an insured UPS service) or email me before checkout if you’d like to add insurance.
Once your package is accepted by the carrier, loss, theft, or damage in transit becomes the carrier’s responsibility.
I’ll gladly help you start a claim with the carrier, but I cannot refund or replace uninsured packages that are marked as delivered or lost in transit.
Incorrect Addresses / Returned Packages
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.
If an order is returned to me due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, the buyer is responsible for the reshipping cost. Shipping charges from the original shipment are non-refundable.
Local Pickup
At this time I do not offer automatic local pickup through the website. If you’re local and want to arrange pickup, email me before placing your order and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
2. Returns & Exchanges Policy – Left Fork Studios
Because each piece is handcrafted, many are one-of-a-kind and made in small batches. This policy is designed to protect my small studio while still treating you fairly.
Eligibility & Timeframe
For ready-to-ship, non-custom pieces purchased online:
Contact me within 7 days of delivery if there’s a problem or you’d like to request a return.
If approved, the item must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery.
Items must be:
Unworn and unused
In original condition
In the original packaging with any boxes, pouches, or cards included
Returns that don’t meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.
What’s Non-Returnable (Final Sale)
To keep the studio sustainable, some items are final sale:
Custom and made-to-order pieces
Items that have been resized, altered, or personalized (including custom stamps or engraving)
Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
Items marked “Final Sale” or purchased from clearance
Jewelry that has been worn, damaged through misuse, or shows signs of heavy wear
Refunds, Store Credit & Restocking
Approved returns for eligible items are issued as store credit for the merchandise amount (original shipping is non-refundable).
If I agree in writing to a full refund instead of store credit, it will be processed to your original payment method once the item is received and inspected.
I reserve the right to charge up to a 10% restocking fee on returns to cover packaging and processing, especially for multiple-item returns.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or I made an error.
Returns must be shipped with tracking; insurance is strongly recommended.
I’m not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.
Damaged or Defective Items
I want you to be thrilled with your jewelry.
If your order arrives damaged or you believe there is a defect in workmanship, contact me within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
Your order number
Clear photos of the piece and the packaging
If I confirm a defect or shipping damage:
I will repair or replace the item at no cost to you, or
Offer a full refund (including original shipping) if a replacement is not possible.
Normal variations, small tool marks, or minor differences from photos are part of the handmade character of your piece and are not considered defects.
Sizing Issues
For rings, cuffs, or bracelets that don’t fit quite right:
In many cases I can resize or adjust for a fee plus shipping both ways.
Email me with your order number and the new size requested so I can confirm what’s possible and quote pricing.
Because resizing requires extra labor and materials, fit issues are not treated as defects unless I clearly made the wrong size compared to your order.
Tarnish, Wear & Repairs
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes and all jewelry will show normal wear over time. Tarnish and everyday wear are not covered as defects and are not grounds for a refund.
If your Left Fork Studios piece needs a little love:
Within 30 days of delivery, I’ll repair clear workmanship issues at no charge (you pay shipping back to me; I pay shipping to return it to you).
After 30 days, or for accidental damage, I’m happy to quote a paid repair. You’re responsible for shipping both ways.
How to Start a Return or Repair Request

Order number
Item name
Photos and a brief description of the issue
I’ll let you know if the item is eligible and send return/repair instructions.
Once your item is received and inspected, I’ll email you about your store credit, refund, or repair timeline.

Left Fork Studios operates this website and is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information that you voluntarily provide when placing an order or contacting us. We do not sell your information and only use it to process orders, communicate with you, and improve our services.
